Recordings with high-speed camera

The high-speed Motion Scope M3 camera offers the possibility of recording extremely fast or one-time short-term processes and making them visible to the human eye. Conventional video cameras store image sequences at up to 30 frames per second. With this technology, the IAB Weimar is able to create video sequences in megapixel resolution with up to 1,000 frames per second. By programmable restriction of the image resolution even much higher recording rates are possible.

Make highly dynamic processes detectable to the human eye

These technical capabilities are often used in destructive material testing to further analyze these unique operations. The recording of extremely fast mechanical processes on machines and devices (working cycles, oscillating and pushing movements) is also part of the task area of the high-speed camera.
