Device for the width measurement for classifying stone layers

When laying paving stones mechanically in larger areas, due to different stone widths irregularities may occur. This is caused by using different production batches, due to mold wear and tolerances in the mixture composition.

Ensuring a balanced laying pattern

One solution to this problem is to classify the layers of stone in accordance with tolerable widths. A balanced installation pattern can be guaranteed when using stone layers of the same class.

Stone layer measurement after curing of the stones

Compliance and labeling of the classification can be guaranteed if the stone layer width is measured within the production cycle before they are stored in ready-to-ship pallets. After the bricks are cured they are pushed together in order to be mechanicly moved on the pallets. This is the best time to measure dimensions.
