The IAB - Institute for Applied Construction Research Weimar is an innovative and successful business-oriented research institute focussing on the development of new equipment, processes and materials for the construction industry. With over 120 employees, we have been supporting our partners and customers with practical research and development as well as application-orientated services for 30 years.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a reliable and independent IT system administrator to start as soon as possible.
- Administration and support of a Microsoft 365 environment
- Management and maintenance of the Windows domain including AD/Entra ID, DNS, DHCP and group policies
- Ensuring security and stability through monitoring and continuous updates and upgrades
- Implementing integrated solutions in collaboration with the institute's specialist departments
- Participation in and further development of IT projects and processes
- Successful IT training with a focus on system integration, a degree in computer science or a comparable qualification acquired in practice
- Technical expertise and experience in IT infrastructures (Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, Sophos, Veeam)
- Confident handling of common software, Windows console and Powershell
- Problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a team and reliability
- Strong service and service orientation
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
