Arriving by car
Coming from Erfurt, take the Bundesstraße 7 (B7) to Weimar. Stay on this road or the beginning of Bundesstraße 85 (B85) in the direction of Weimar-Schöndorf / Kölleda. At the next traffic lights, turn left into the Weimar district of Tröbsdorf. In Tröbsdorf, turn left at the next crossroads into Max-Greil-Sieldung. You will find parking facilities in front of our institute on the left-hand side (IAB stele). Coming from Jena, first take the Bundesstraße 7 (B7) through Weimar towards Erfurt. After leaving the town, turn onto the B85 towards Weimar-Schöndorf / Kölleda, then left towards Tröbsdorf and left again onto Max-Greil-Siedlung.
Arrival by public transport
From Weimar main station, take bus line 7 (direction "Kaunaser Straße") to the bus stop "Goetheplatz / Zentrum". From there, take bus line 3 (direction "Stauffenbergstraße") directly to "Tröbsdorf, Max-Greil-Siedlung" (for more information on bus connections, see: www.vmt-thueringen.de). From there it is a 5-minute walk to the left (as seen from the bus stop) up the hill and then you will see the Institute behind a football pitch. The main entrance is on the second floor, coming from the concrete platform (turn left at the small crossroads just after the Institute).
